Lesley Whiteside founded the company in 2006 and enjoys the role of Managing Director and Principal Consultant. Lesley has a strong background in the area of organisational psychology and has demonstrated expertise in delivering a range of programs such as Effective Conflict Management, Therapeutic Interventions in Conflict & Crisis Situations, Managing Challenging Behaviours, Preventing Occupational Violence and Advanced Aggression Management.
After spending 10 years working directly with clients and families at risk, Lesley then moved into the training arm of the Department of Human Services, where she was able to design and deliver high quality training programs to provide staff with the necessary skills and strategies to undertake their role.
In 1999 Lesley then made the transition from public to private sector and accepted the role of Victorian Training Manager with the OSA Group. Lesley gained invaluable corporate experience in providing consulting and training services to a broad range of government, non-government and private organisations in the areas of leadership, emotional intelligence and diversity. Her work has extended to a variety of sectors including residential services, banking and utility services, drug and alcohol, mental health and to a large number of Fortune 500 listed companies.
Lesley leads the team at Edge and engages and collaborates with one of her highly experiences team members to design and deliver high quality solutions. We only engage consultants who have a sound theoretical perspective in addition to having direct industry and practical experience.
